Job Description
The Cloud Services Operations Engineer will be part of PTC’s cloud delivery and application maintenance team. The team supports PTC cloud portfolio solutions and works on technical activities involving operating system patching, database upgrades, SSL certificate renewal, and mandatory software updates.
The role also involves working with infrastructure teams, validating application compatibility, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining application performance and availability. Team members collaborate with professionals across different locations to deliver cloud services and meet customer requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience with Windchill PLM, Linux, and cloud providers is preferred.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of Windchill PDMLink administration.
- Understanding of CAD data management and visualisation.
- Advanced command-line Linux and scripting skills.
- Knowledge of databases, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
