Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners to build out products and platforms aligned with business needs.
- Design and deliver high-quality technical solutions while addressing technical debt.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of assigned tasks with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Support production, manage environments, and handle release automation.
- Maintain quality coding standards with practices like TDD, BDD, and unit testing.
- Generate and maintain agile practices in daily workflows.
- Work with UX and architecture teams to ensure design-driven development principles are upheld.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while adhering to DevOps principles.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
- Experience in Microservices architecture and REST services
- Hands-on experience deploying microservices in a containerized environment
- Strong knowledge of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
- Exposure to NoSQL, Elastic, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Ansible, AI/ML (good to have)
- Familiarity with ServiceNow development (scripting, workflows, integrations)
Additional Skills:
- Experience in Continuous Delivery methodologies with TDD and automated testing
- Background in high-volume data integration and performance testing
- Strong architectural knowledge is an added advantage
Non-Technical Requirements
- Strong communication skills with experience working with IT leads, delivery managers, architects, and business product owners.
- Ability to work effectively with offshore teams.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to act as a role model for peers.
