Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and perform technical impact assessments.
- Estimate effort and prepare timelines for development activities.
- Create technical design documents and conduct stakeholder walkthroughs.
- Modify code in INGENIUM Application, Pathfinder, and business process flows.
- Debug Ingenium workflows and resolve technical issues.
- Develop or modify web services to integrate Ingenium with other applications.
- Create and manage batch programs for reporting requirements.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability.
- Support testing phases (SIT, UAT, and functional testing) by fixing defects.
- Configure, migrate, and maintain Ingenium environments for different projects.
- Document technical processes, designs, and solutions for knowledge sharing.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and organizational guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in INGENIUM architecture, Pathfinder, application, and database components.
- Good understanding of the Life Insurance domain and its products.
- Experience with Windows, Unix, and AIX platforms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL, SQL, DB2, Object REXX, CICS, and Mainframes.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript for application enhancements.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including business analysts, project managers, and developers.
