Job Description
The Network Monitoring Engineer will join the Customer Services & Operations team within the Network Monitoring function. The role involves monitoring customer networks, validating network alarms, performing initial fault diagnosis, and communicating service-impacting incidents to customers and internal teams.
This position offers an opportunity to work with large-scale IP networks, Cisco technologies, and managed network services in an international telecommunications environment.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the following essential requirements:
- Engineering degree or engineering diploma.
- Basic knowledge of the OSI model and TCP/IP suite.
- Understanding of basic routing and switching.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, internet browsers, Microsoft Office, and email applications.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift environment.
- A proactive attitude, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- CCNA certification.
