Spektra Systems AI-Native Software Engineer Trainee Job Description

Spektra Systems LLC is looking for motivated freshers and early-career candidates who are interested in building software applications using AI coding agents. The selected candidates will work across the company’s product portfolio, including CloudLabs, CSP Control Center, SaaSify, CloudEvents, and the company’s official website.

The role focuses on using AI coding agents to develop product features, APIs, integrations, marketing websites, landing pages, and internal AI tools. Candidates will learn how to convert requirements into clear technical specifications, guide AI agents, review generated code, and deliver working applications to production.

Unlike traditional software development roles, candidates will use AI tools as their primary implementation assistants while taking responsibility for the quality, correctness, security, and performance of the generated code. Senior engineers will provide mentorship, review contributions, and gradually assign larger development responsibilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Convert project requirements into clear, agent-ready specifications with acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to develop software applications.
• Work on .NET, ASP.NET Core APIs, SQL Server, and Angular-based applications.
• Develop front-end applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Work with Python services and APIs in different product modules.
• Build and maintain marketing websites and landing pages using Astro, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Review AI-generated code before submitting pull requests.
• Identify bugs, edge cases, security issues, and performance problems.
• Use AI agents to generate unit tests, integration tests, and Playwright end-to-end tests.
• Build and update marketing pages while maintaining brand identity and design consistency.
• Help develop small AI agents and automations to reduce manual business processes.
• Improve AI agent instructions, AGENTS.md files, skills, and templates.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications to QA and production environments on Azure.
• Investigate and resolve issues after application releases.
• Prepare clear pull request descriptions and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and implement feedback to improve development quality.

Qualifications & Skills

• Good understanding of programming fundamentals in at least one language, such as TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, or Python.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies, including HTTP, REST APIs, HTML, and CSS.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Hands-on experience using at least one AI coding tool, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or GitHub Copilot.
• Practical experience building real projects through personal, academic, freelance, or open-source work.
• Basic knowledge of Git, including commits, branches, and pull requests.
• Good written English communication skills.
• Curiosity to understand how AI-generated code works rather than simply checking whether it runs.
• Willingness to accept feedback, review code, and improve development skills.
• Interest in software engineering, generative AI, and AI-powered development tools.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Exposure to React, Next.js, Angular, or ASP.NET Core.
• Experience writing automated tests, especially Playwright or other end-to-end testing tools.
• Experience deploying applications using Azure, Vercel, AWS, or similar cloud platforms.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design and website development.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, MCP servers, Claude Code skills, or other agent development tools.
