Key Responsibilities
As an ITAM Analyst, your primary focus will be on ensuring control, compliance, and customer service across IT asset management operations. Responsibilities include:
- Managing IT asset tracking, inventory, and security procedures
- Conducting physical inventory counts and reconciling with asset systems
- Timely entry of data into asset tracking systems
- Managing hardware procurement, asset lifecycle, and disposal
- Supporting adherence to IT security and asset policies
- Using tools such as ServiceNow, Excel, and other inventory systems
- Escalating issues requiring management intervention
- Coordinating with multiple stakeholders to maintain operational accuracy
- Ensuring efficient utilization of IT stock and resources
Skills and Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
- B.E/B.Tech (IT, Mechanical, or other streams) or MBA in Finance/Operations
- ITIL Foundation Certification preferred
- Additional Diploma in Asset, Inventory, or Supply Chain Management is a plus
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle and inventory tools
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Comfort working in an operations-driven, process-oriented environment
