Job Summary
As a Financial Analyst 1, you will support HP’s financial management functions by analyzing financial data, reconciling results, identifying variances, and providing insights to stakeholders. The role also includes supporting budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with corporate reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial data extraction and variance analysis to provide actionable insights.
- Conduct financial analysis for business units, addressing financial issues and supporting decision-making.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes with expense and capital review.
- Interpret financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Support monthly book closing and trend analysis.
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and internal controls.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations through analytics and standardized reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support projects and deliver accurate financial insights.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
- 0–2 years of work experience (freshers can apply).
- Experience in financial management, internal audit, or accounting is a plus.
Preferred Certifications
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) – Preferred but not mandatory.
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) – Preferred but not mandatory.
