The College Graduate Engineer role is designed for fresh postgraduate engineers who want to build a strong foundation in semiconductor technology. Key Responsibilities
As a College Graduate Engineer at Intel, your responsibilities will include both technical problem-solving and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Solving critical engineering problems related to technology and product development using software expertise, process knowledge, and analytical methods
- Developing, optimizing, and deploying software solutions and algorithms to address complex tool and process interaction challenges

- Following best-in-class semiconductor industry practices in overlay and registration metrology
- Working closely with equipment vendors to resolve complex imaging and measurement issues

- Preparing clear, well-documented daily reports and collaborating effectively in a matrixed team environment
Skills Required
To be eligible for Intel’s College Graduate Engineer role, candidates must meet the following criteria.
Minimum Qualifications
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields
- Strong exposure to data analysis and structural characterization in the semiconductor domain
- At least one of the following:
- 6+ months experience in semiconductor fabrication or nano-lithography
- 6+ months experience working in Linux or Unix environments
- 6+ months experience with machine learning and AI techniques
- 1+ year experience in mathematics, including algebra, linear algebra, calculus, statistics, and familiarity with DOE
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year experience with Python or other server-side technologies
- Experience with C++ programming or Python scripting
- Familiarity with statistical tools such as JMP and scientific tools like MATLAB or Mathematica
- Experience in algorithm development
- Exposure to nanometrology techniques such as optical microscopy, SEM, or AFM
