Job Description
As an Associate Consultant, you will support the Australia and New Zealand Analytics team in delivering recurring and ad hoc analytics, reporting, and dashboarding requirements.
The role initially focuses on hands-on data analysis, data transformation, visualization, quality control, and responding to analytical requests.
You will work with large and complex datasets using SQL and Excel, develop dashboards using Power BI or MicroStrategy, and identify opportunities to improve reporting and quality-control processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform descriptive and exploratory analysis of large datasets.
- Support recurring weekly and monthly analytics and reporting.
- Extract, transform, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL and Excel.
- Develop, refresh, and maintain dashboards using Power BI and/or MicroStrategy.
- Perform data validation and quality checks.
- Investigate data discrepancies and identify potential root causes.
- Respond to ad hoc analytical questions and data requests.
- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements.
- Improve reporting, dashboarding, data transformation, and QC processes.
