Job Description
Standard Chartered is looking for talented candidates to join its technology team as an Analyst Development professional. The role involves designing and developing software solutions based on business requirements and organizational standards.
The selected candidates will work with technologies such as Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and React. Candidates will also contribute to application testing, technical problem-solving, continuous integration, and software implementation activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- BE, MCA, or MSc qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience in Java/J2EE, PL/SQL, and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot development.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Microservices, and backend integration.
- Understanding of frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Angular or React is preferred.
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL development.
- Familiarity with Jenkins or Hudson is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Git, CVS, Subversion, or other version-control systems.
- Understanding of shell scripting and Unix commands.
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to learn modern engineering practices quickly.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions according to business requirements.
- Prepare analysis and design documentation for development teams.
- Develop and maintain Java and J2EE applications.

- Support frontend development using modern web technologies.
- Assist in creating test cases for in-sprint testing.
- Support development teams in resolving technical issues.
