Job Overview

This recruitment is for the Invoicing – Accounting function under the Customer Billing team. The role involves processing invoice requests, validating details, coordinating with the Order-to-Cash (O2C) team, and ensuring timely and accurate billing. The position plays a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting project teams, and ensuring smooth delivery of billing operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Invoicing and Accounting team plays a crucial role in the financial process flow. Your primary responsibilities include:

1. Invoice Request Processing

The process begins with the Project Leader (PL) or Project Manager (PM) submitting an invoice request form. As part of the invoicing team, you will check the form for accuracy, ensuring all required details are correctly filled.

2. Validation of Inputs

Before the invoice can be created, all data points must be verified. This includes project codes, billing details, amount calculations, and compliance with internal guidelines.

3. Invoice Generation

Once validated, the O2C team generates the invoice. You will coordinate with them to ensure timely processing and follow-up activities.

4. Verification and Post-Processing

After generation, invoices undergo another level of review. Any adjustments, corrections, or revalidations happen in this phase.

5. Submission to Customers

The final invoice is sent to the customer either by the O2C team or the Project Leader, depending on the workflow.

6. Invoice Cancellation

If an invoice needs to be canceled, you will follow a documented cancellation procedure and ensure all steps are logged properly.

7. Reporting

Once a month, you will present a consolidated billing report to your manager. This includes details on the number of invoices processed, exceptions, delays, and overall performance.

8. Invoice Analysis & UBR Reduction

Candidates must prepare invoice analysis reports and contribute to Unbilled Revenue (UBR) reduction by improving accuracy and preventing delays.
