Key Responsibilities
- Create part numbers for Bill of Materials (BOM) in Agile & Baan systems.
- Set up Approved Vendor List (AVL) in Agile & Baan.
- Download and release customer documents like product specifications in the CDC system.
- Act as a Change Analyst during New Product Introduction (NPI) for new changes.
- Release part lists to production for new models and after ECO (Engineering Change Order) implementation.
- Manage ECOs efficiently for global manufacturing sites using Agile PLM systems.
- Study ECOs/drawings and coordinate with process/product engineering teams.
- Collaborate with engineering and materials teams for reviewing product updates and modifications.
- Respond to queries related to ECOs from business partners and customers.
- Ensure all process metrics targets are met.
- Display strong people management and leadership skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.E (EEE/ECE) or M.Sc (Physics/ECS) from a recognized institution.
- 0–2 years of experience as an NPI/ECO Engineer, preferably in the EMS industry.
- Hands-on experience in NPI, ECO, and BOM management.
- Proficiency in PLM software linked to the ECO process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Skills in coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
