Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee in the Testing team, you will:
- Develop and execute automation test scripts.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to create effective test cases.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Debug test failures, analyze logs, and report defects.
- Maintain and improve automation frameworks.
- Write and run basic SQL queries for database testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvements in testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python programming (loops, functions, OOP concepts).
- Basic understanding of SQL queries for database validation.
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools (Selenium, PyTest, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Exposure to Git or version control systems.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST API).
