Key Responsibilities
- Create part numbers for BOM in Agile and Baan systems.
- Download and release customer documents such as product specifications.
- Act as a Change Analyst during NPI (New Product Introduction) for new changes.
- Release part lists to production for new models after ECO implementation.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) across global manufacturing sites.
- Use Agile PLM system for ECO creation, review, routing, and distribution.
- Study ECOs/drawings and coordinate with Process/Product Engineering teams.
- Work with Engineering and Materials teams on product updates/modifications.
- Address queries from business partners and customers regarding ECOs.
- Ensure adherence to targets set for process metrics.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).
- 0–2 years of experience in NPI/ECO engineering within a manufacturing setup (preferably EMS industry).
- Hands-on experience in:
- NPI (New Product Introduction)
- ECO (Engineering Change Order Management)
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Management
- Proficiency in PLM software related to ECO processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Skills in coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution.
