Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Engineer – Machine Programming at Flex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Initiating and implementing continuous monitoring and improvement activities for SMT processes in line with customer and internal requirements
- Conducting testing and inspection activities and preparing reports for customers
- Managing development projects to meet customer product specifications
- Developing, testing, and implementing new materials and processes to improve performance and reduce costs
- Leading initiatives to increase throughput, reduce manufacturing costs, and improve operational efficiency
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of component placement and machine optimization techniques
- Defining quality and testing methods for new assignments that may impact departmental functions

- Applying advanced manufacturing technologies and functional techniques to enhance existing processes
- Collaborating with engineering teams to improve designs and manufacturing workflows
Skills Required

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in ECE, EEE, or Mechanical Engineering

- Familiarity with wire measuring machines, crimping tools, and testing equipment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (mandatory)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, coaching, and mentoring abilities
