This is an entry-level engineering role where you will provide managed services to clients. The focus is on monitoring and maintaining IT systems, identifying issues, and ensuring smooth operations by resolving technical incidents quickly.
Key Responsibilities
As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L1), you will be responsible for:
- Monitoring IT Infrastructure: Continuously monitor client networks and systems to ensure they remain operational.
- Incident Management: Identify, investigate, and resolve first-line incidents and problems with a focus on zero SLA breaches.
- Problem Identification: Detect common issues proactively and recommend solutions to prevent future incidents.

- Disaster Recovery Support: Contribute to disaster recovery activities and tests when required.

- Routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting ISP uplinks (DIA, MPLS, P2P circuits)
- Familiarity with tools like SecureCRT and Logic Monitor
Academic Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computing or equivalent.
- CCNA certification or equivalent is mandatory.
- Additional certifications related to networking, data centers, or cloud services will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Entry-level professionals or candidates who have completed internships in IT infrastructure or networking.
