About the Role

As an Engineer I, you will become part of SiFive’s Hardware Engineering (DV) team responsible for verifying advanced CPU pipelines and memory management subsystems. The primary focus of this role is validating the architectural and microarchitectural correctness of the Memory Management Unit (MMU), including Translation Lookaside Buffers (TLBs), page table walkers, and memory protection mechanisms. You will collaborate closely with architecture and RTL design teams to identify, debug, and resolve design issues while ensuring high-quality processor verification.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify Memory Management Unit (MMU) functionality.
- Develop directed and constrained-random test cases.
- Execute simulation and debug verification failures.
- Analyze functional and code coverage metrics.
- Create assertions and coverage models.
- Collaborate with RTL designers and architects.
- Validate processor functionality against specifications.
- Support automation using scripting languages.
- Participate in design reviews and verification planning.
- Maintain high verification quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Applicants with 0–2 years of experience are eligible to apply. Fresh graduates with strong academic fundamentals in computer architecture, digital design, and programming are encouraged to submit their applications.
