About the Role
As a Software Developer, you will develop code based on functional specifications and a thorough understanding of Hyland’s product code, identifying refactoring opportunities and architectural improvements. You’ll test code to verify it meets technical specifications, create and apply automated tests, and contribute to standards and processes across the software development lifecycle using Agile methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop code based on functional specifications; identify refactoring and architectural improvements.
- Test code to verify it meets technical specifications before submitting for code review.
- Create and apply automated tests, including unit tests, to software changes.
- Contribute to planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews.
- Comply with corporate data security policies, including Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy.
Required Skills
- Experience with one or more general-purpose languages like .NET or Java.
- Awareness of SDLC processes and Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Octopus) and version control.
- Experience working with web services using REST and POST.
