About the Role
This role supports Project Vaani, an initiative by IISc and ARTPARK, Bangalore, funded by Google, aimed at ensuring all Indian languages get their due presence in an increasingly digital India. You will listen to audio files or review text transcripts native to your region and provide feedback, helping reject audios that are mispronounced, grammatically incorrect, or otherwise unsuitable for training language-aware software.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen to audio files or review text transcripts native to your region.
- Provide feedback on specific quality questions for each assigned file.
- Reject audios that are not from your region, contain incorrect language, or have other quality issues.
- Work on Google Sheets to record and submit your quality check feedback.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates from the 2023-2026 batches, or anyone with a minimum of 10th-12th pass qualification, can apply. You must be able to read, understand, and write in your local/regional language, and have access to a laptop or smartphone with an internet connection to work on Google Sheets.
