Key Responsibilities

1. Process Improvement & Waste Elimination

  • Assist production teams in identifying and reducing Muri (overburden), Mura (unevenness), and Muda (waste).
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to stabilize processes and reduce cycle time.

2. Live Production Data Monitoring

  • Coordinate with Team Leaders and Production Leaders to maintain accurate data records.
  • Track KPIs/PI (Performance Indicators) and ensure timely reporting.

3. Quality and ANDON Analysis

  • Collect and analyze data from ANDON triggers and quality remarks.
  • Support root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.

4. Video Study & Work Method Optimization

  • Conduct video-based assessments to improve work methods and optimize workflow.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance operator efficiency.

5. Support Digitalization Efforts

  • Contribute to digital initiatives aimed at transforming production systems.
  • Assist in using digital tools for monitoring, reporting, and documentation.

6. Safety & Risk Assessment

  • Report unsafe conditions on the shop floor.
  • Participate in safety walks, Gemba rounds, and risk assessments.

7. Documentation & WIP Tracking

  • Update the status of WIP (Work-in-Progress) vehicles regularly.
  • Support documentation processes for trials, validations, and engineering changes.

This role provides strong practical exposure to real production environments and helps trainees understand how world-class manufacturing systems operate.
