Job Overview
The Software Engineer I – Dev Tooling role is part of Sumo Logic’s Release Engineering team. In this position, you will focus on building and maintaining automated tools that support the release processes across all services within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer I at Sumo Logic, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and improvement of internal engineering platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining automated release pipelines and delivery tools
- Building internal tools to support development, testing, debugging, and deployment workflows
- Implementing best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and software delivery under senior guidance
- Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and technical troubleshooting
- Writing clear documentation related to tools, system behavior, and workflows

Educational Qualifications

Technical Skills
