Role Purpose
The Graduate Trainee Engineer will be responsible for preparing test cases, performing product testing, and ensuring 100% quality assurance before deployment at client locations. The role also involves automation, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and quality reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand product requirements and design effective test cases.
- Prepare test plans and align them with business and functional requirements.
- Execute testing using Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach for efficient test generation.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test scenarios.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and set testing criteria and scope.
- Automate test processes using VB Macros, scheduling, and GUI automation tools.
- Design, execute, and report test automation frameworks.
- Develop and automate test cases for validation of software products.
- Ensure defect reports are clear, detailed, and meet project norms.
- Detect bugs, troubleshoot, and prepare accurate defect documentation.
- Deliver timely test execution reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on usability, serviceability, and quality risks.
- Maintain strong communication with customers regarding reports, status updates, and feedback.
