Key Responsibilities
- Develop logic for alarm handling and correlation.
- Build custom adapters for network fault and performance data collection using SNMP, Syslog, and Telemetry.
- Write and optimize scripts/adapters using Python and Shell scripting.
- Design and deliver solutions using Agile methodologies.
- Debug complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis for production errors.
- Work with multiple technologies including Java (JDK 17), Kubernetes, Grafana, mySQL, Oracle, Graph DBs, and more.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams in an agile (scrum) environment.
- Deliver high-quality software releases on schedule.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: 0–3 years in software engineering or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Java (JDK 17).
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Shell scripting, Apache Kafka, REST API, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Grafana, Kibana, GitLab Runner.
- Good understanding of SQL databases, Graph databases, and their components.
- Familiarity with Linux operating system.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and cloud computing.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
