Job Description
Citi is looking for a Business Analyst to join its Decision Management team in Bengaluru. The role involves analyzing complex datasets to generate meaningful business insights, identify opportunities, and address business challenges within the credit card and financial services domain.
The candidate will manage different stages of the data lifecycle, including data processing, analysis, quality checks, reporting, and insight generation. The role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and support data-driven business solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in data analysis.
- Experience in business analytics or financial analytics is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS is an advantage.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hive, Impala, or PySpark is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their use in data analysis is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in banking or the credit card industry is encouraged.
