Job Description
Deloitte is looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Automation Test Engineers to join its Quality Engineering team in Bengaluru. The role is suitable for fresh graduates and professionals with up to two years of experience who have an interest in software testing and automation.
In this position, candidates will work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA professionals to design, execute, and maintain automated testing solutions for web and API applications. The role also provides opportunities to work with modern testing frameworks and enterprise-level projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.E. or B.Tech qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience in software testing or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
- Basic programming knowledge in Java or Python.
- Understanding of API testing concepts.
- Knowledge of Postman or REST Assured is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good debugging abilities.

Preferred Skills
- Exposure to TestNG or JUnit.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.

- Internship or academic project experience in automation testing.
