Job Description

Intel is looking for a Physical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced chip designs. The role involves creating and verifying critical chip layout elements at cell, block, and full-chip levels.

Candidates will work with physical design methodologies and tools to support high-performance semiconductor solutions. The position also involves debugging, verification, floor planning, parasitic extraction, and chip assembly activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of physical layout design and verification processes.
  • Familiarity with ICC2 tools and physical design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of TCL scripting.
  • Practical experience with TCL scripting is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in semiconductor technology and physical design.
