The Viewer Experience (VX) organization at JioHotstar focuses on the complete user journey across the platform, including search, personalization, watch experience, interactivity, and other customer-facing experiences.
The team brings together engineering, machine learning, design, and data to create personalized and engaging experiences for users at massive scale. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to products serving a large global audience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript.
- Good understanding of how web browsers work.
- Strong knowledge of software design and architecture patterns.
- Understanding of frontend frameworks such as React or AngularJS.
- Good knowledge of Git and code versioning tools.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Grunt or Gulp.
- Strong interest in learning new technologies and frameworks.
- Good understanding of UI/UX implementation.
- Open-source contributions are an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
