About the Role
As a Claims Examiner in this Email/Back Office role, you will analyze multiple documents and contracts to decide whether to pay or deny claims submitted by members or providers, in line with client specifications. You will also route claims to the appropriate department, provider, or member whenever additional information is required for claims adjudication, while meeting required TAT and quality SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze documents and contracts to decide on claim payment or denial per client specifications.
- Route claims to the appropriate department, provider, or member for missing information.
- Complete claims adjudication within required turnaround time (TAT) and quality SLAs.
- Maintain production and quality standards, and adhere to shift and schedule requirements.
- Continuously build process knowledge relevant to healthcare claims operations.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with a 3-year Arts & Science or Diploma degree in any discipline, with no active arrears, can apply. Note that BE/B.Tech and Master’s degree holders are not eligible for this role. Candidates should have a typing speed of at least 24 WPM with 90% accuracy, along with good comprehension skills.
