Job Description
L&T Precision Engineering & Systems is looking for a Software Engineer to join its D&DC Land Systems team in Mumbai. The role involves developing and supporting software for large and complex systems, with a strong focus on C and C++ programming, operating systems, debugging, communication protocols, and distributed architectures.
Candidates will also work on system development tools, diagnostics, testing, scalability, integration, and resolving technical issues reported from customer sites.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.E./B.Tech qualification.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of C and C++ programming.
- Strong understanding of operating system principles.
- Knowledge of Linux, VxWorks, or QNX.
- Experience with multi-threaded and multi-process programming.
- Proficiency with Linux and Jira.
- Knowledge of Inter-Process Communication (IPC).
- Understanding of distributed architecture systems.
- Knowledge of IP protocols, VLANs, and Ethernet switching.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
