About the Role

The Commercial Rating and Underwriting (CRU) team sits within the Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) division and forms the institutional credit risk management function within American Express. As an Analyst – Risk Management, you will play a role in assessing and managing the risk of institutional exposures across all business units within American Express, globally, working with a team led from Salt Lake City with regional presence in New York, London, Singapore, and India.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the assessment and monitoring of institutional credit exposures across business units.
- Assist in determining internal credit ratings that drive the probability of default of each exposure.
- Contribute to calculating loss given default for obligors while underwriting card programs.
- Support compliance with global banking regulatory requirements as a bank holding company.
- Collaborate with regional CRU teams across New York, London, Singapore, and India.
Eligibility Criteria
