Job Description
Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a Junior Analyst to join its Global Shared Services team in Pune. The Junior Finance Analyst will primarily support finance processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Record to Report.
The role involves accurately processing financial transactions, maintaining documentation, supporting audits, and working with senior team members to improve finance processes. Candidates will also receive training and feedback while developing their knowledge of global finance operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in the finance domain can apply.
- CA (Complete or Inter) candidates are eligible.
- CMA India (Complete or Inter) candidates can apply.
- US CMA candidates are eligible.
- ACCA candidates with a minimum of 8 papers qualified can apply.
- CFA Level 1 candidates can apply.
- CPA Level 1 candidates can apply.
- Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping concepts.
- Knowledge of internal financial controls.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work with teams across different time zones.
- BPO industry experience will be an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Process finance transactions related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Support Record to Report activities accurately and within defined timelines.
- Complete transaction processing according to company policies and service-level requirements.
- Attend training sessions and implement feedback provided by senior team members.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations.
- Identify process issues and escalate them to the Team Lead when required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date desktop documentation.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Ensure finance transactions are processed accurately and within SLA.
- Follow company privacy and security requirements.
- Contribute to an inclusive and collaborative working environment.
