Foundation AI is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions. Roles and Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Follow established coding standards and software development best practices.
• Investigate and fix bugs assigned by senior developers.
• Participate in debugging and issue-triage activities.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback from senior engineers.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them within the expected timelines.
• Use Git effectively for commits, branching, pull requests, and merges.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Support continuous integration and deployment processes.

• Exposure to frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Experience creating or consuming RESTful APIs.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Proficiency with Git, including branching, pull requests, and merges.
• Understanding of unit testing, code coverage, and code quality practices.
• Ability to debug applications using logs and IDE tools.
