Job Description
Google is looking for talented university graduates to join its Platforms and Devices team as Silicon Engineers. The team works on Google’s consumer hardware products and develops advanced chips designed for applications such as imaging, machine learning, video, security, and other computing technologies.
As a Silicon Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, verification, and implementation of consumer hardware. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and external partners to develop and manufacture innovative hardware solutions.
This role provides an opportunity for fresh graduates to work on cutting-edge technologies while gaining practical experience in semiconductor and hardware engineering.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Understanding of computer hardware architecture and design concepts.
- Internship, work experience, or personal project experience in hardware, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering is preferred.

- Participate in the analysis and prototyping of new hardware concepts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate SoC design flows.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development process.
