Key Responsibilities
- Stay informed about the latest malware trends and cyber threats.
- Provide detailed remediation and mitigation assistance through written reports.
- Prepare root cause analysis and create remediation strategies.
- Monitor ticket queues and prioritize issues effectively.
- Track internal communication channels for security-related queries.
- Perform 24×7 monitoring of alerts and raise incidents as required.
- Support senior analysts during investigations and response activities.
- Conduct initial triage of events using playbooks.
- Investigate security alerts from multiple sources.
- Ensure timely closure of all raised incidents.
- Continuously enhance monitoring practices by analyzing logs and identifying anomalies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and OS X operating systems.
- Basic shell scripting knowledge is mandatory.
- Ability to create rules in security tools and query logs effectively.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as escalate issues when necessary.
